in order to join, we require: a username using the name of the celebrity you are applying as (birth or stage name allowed) with no numbers or symbols, at least one icon, a friends only post and a screened contact post. please clear your journal of other communities (rps and any sl-related subcomms are the exception). after joining you are allowed to lock your friends only and screened posts, but during the application process we ask that you keep them open. wire screennames are entirely optional, but encouraged (note: we are NOT implementing a community-wide group chat on wire. members are more than welcome to make group chats, but they will not be affiliated with or moderated by us at all! we do not recommend large community group chats as they tend to cause problems for all parties involved). we will not be requiring examples unless there is a challenge! we accept credible/verified youtube and instagram personalities at mod discretion, but we will not, under any circumstances, accept anyone who is not at least 18 years old.

once accepted you will have 72 hours to post your introduction into ~passcoded. an update will be required every three weeks, there will be no minimum word count, but we expect some sort of effort to be put in with your updates (we will happily answer any questions about this!). we understand sometimes updating with a set word count can be frustrating, and would like to give our members more freedom to explore other options such as html work, playlists, and the like. as of 9/1 we will be requiring a post in either of the subcomms a minimum of once every three weeks. we won't be offering update passes, but posting in either of the subcomms three times in an activity period will earn you an opt out, and there will be no requirements as to what you do with those. you can only use an opt out for every other activity period. intros are mandatory and therefore do not count as one of the two posts towards an opt out. friends lists must be up to date, anyone with a friends list out of date for two weeks or more may be overridden. please do not hide your userinfo, as we need to be able to see it for this reason. FRIENDS PAGE ACTIVITY IS MANDATORY an effort to post in the subcomms and comment around on others' posts must seen or you will be given a warning and become available for override. any questions about overriding may be directed to the contact post! hiatuses and extensions will be granted at mod discretion.

we all know the basics - don’t plagiarize, don’t attempt to control other characters' actions, be respectful to all writers. our harassment policy is a zero-tolerance one. bullying, commenting with "anon" journals (should we identify you with proof), etc. is all punishable by immediate removal. line-crossing will be addressed once, before removal. if you receive any comments or pms please contact us immediately, preferably with screenshots.
userinfos: we ask that you don't have anyone linked or any gifs/artwork with a member that isn't or is no longer in the community. if we see this, we will remind you to remove whatever you have in your userinfo that violates this rule. interests and subcomms with ex-members are allowed, but as always, it's encouraged that you interact with members currently in the community. we ask that you keep friending non-members to a minimum.

overrides will be determined by a few aspects, if the member in question introed, if they're active on the friends page and in comments, and if their friends list is up to date. we as mods are the only ones who determine the ability to override a member. please do not post on rps or comment others asking them to override members, you are allowed to tell the prospective person to come to us privately and ask if the member in question is available for override and we will determine how to continue from there. try to check the taken list before posting on rps to make sure you're not asking for members that are already taken.
